New account: Poster campaign for the 10th Long Night of Science in Berlin

As early as December 2009, we successfully beat off competition in its bid to design the posters for the 10th Long Night of Science ("Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften", LNDW) in Berlin. During the multi-level tendering process, we presented the LNDW curators with a series of campaign posters which made reference to the well-known slogan, "the cleverest night of the year".

We developed three themes for the campaign, with the slogans "The hardest nut in town" (Die härteste Nuss der Stadt), "The biggest philosopher's stone" (Der größte Stein der Weisen) and "The fastest mouse in the world" (Die schnellste Maus der Welt), together with appropriate objects. In this way the complex challenges of science are conveyed to non-scientists in everyday language. The objects were photographed by Jens Bösenberg of Berlin. As part of the campaign, we were also commissioned to design and produce further media communications, including advertisements and spots for use on public transport in Berlin and Potsdam.
