History is only boring if it is narrated in a boring manner. The Association of Historians in Germany champions lively and tangible history by attempting to make the public enthusiastic about historical studies by introducing them to internationally renowned experts in the field.
Every two years the Association of Historians in Germany organizes a Historians' Day, the largest humanities convention in Europe. According to old tradition, this convention always takes place in a different city and thus in various different institutes. In 2010, more than 3,000 historians will convene in Humboldt University, Berlin. We are there to advise and support this conference and develop an autonomous brand.
