We couldn't believe it either: the Humboldt University Berlin is actually 200 years old. But is it not ridiculous to celebrate the event so extravagantly? Far from it - the HU has gone through a lot.

Even if the 200 year anniversary of many universities passes by with no more than a sentimental smile - the two centuries of the HU Berlin's existence were extremely turbulent and so by comparison there are many reasons for celebrating this anniversary - with this in mind, we are there to advise and support the university during the celebrations

We have placed the main emblem of the university in the background for the duration of the celebrations and placed the 200 years HU Berlin in the form of the logo HU200 in the foreground. Thus, a brand which will be featured in all communication strategies during the anniversary will be created on the basis of the concise abbreviation,HU. Furthermore, part of the briefing was to place the claim to being, "the modern original" beside the brand which can be done in various combinations
