The Office for Religious Services is the service unit for employees of the Protestant Church in Berlin, so to speak: dozens of departments and units organize the training and advanced training of employees. Therefore, the main aim of the new logo for the AKD was to function in a variety of different applications.

The corporate design of the AKD is used in a decentralized form in all departments. Therefore, visual comprehensibility and user-orientation were the primary focus of the development. Thus, for example, workstations are coded with different colors. Derived from the logo of the Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz Evangelical Church(EKBO), the AKD is thus instantly recognisable as a subsidiary brand within the new design identity.
