When Gary Hill, Joseph Beuys, Janet Cardiff, Martin Assig, Zuzanna Janin, Rolf Julius and Alvin Lucier meet up in Brandenburg, there is probably a specific reason for this rendez-vous.

The reason for the get-together is the decentralized exhibition project "Interventions": installations and objects by internationally renowned artists will be exhibited in seven towns in Brandenburg. The art project that is planned for summer 2005 examines the mutual relations between the church and contemporary art. The past and the present are merged in the form of paintings, sculptures and installations in historical church premises

We developed the accompanying exhibition documents, a poster campaign as well as an online presence for the project launched by the art foundation "St. Matthew's" and curated by Dr. S. Eugen Blume, Head of the Hamburger Bahnhof (Museum for Contemporary Art, Berlin).
